Matched

I am happy to tell everyone that we have been matched with a birthmother in Denver. Her due date is May 8th (this Friday). She should be induced sometime this week. We will most likely find out tomorrow when it is set. Please keep praying everyone that this will work out.

Heartbreak

We recently had our hearts broken. We had been talking with some birth parents for about a month, and we thought everything was set. Then, delivery time came and they just stopped calling us. So unfortunately, we didn't get to bring our little boy home like we thought we would. Back to the drawing board for us!!!

Still Waiting

Unfortunately, we were not selected for the December baby as mentioned in my last post. There really isn't anything coming up in the near future (as far as we know). Please keep us in your prayers as we wait (trying to be patient) to expand our family.

New Situation

There is a baby due in December. They are going to be looking at our book soon.

Active Again

We have completed our KY homestudy as of last Friday. Now, we are just waiting for that phone call that our baby is ready to come home.

Delayed

Since we moved to Kentucky, unfortunately we had to be taken off the list at Hope's Promise until we have our KY Homestudy completed. I spoke with an agency in Kentucky, and she told me that is should only take around 2 weeks. Hopefully, we won't miss out on any opportunities during that time!!

118 days but who's counting

Talked to the agency for my monthly check-in. They tell us that our book shows very well, but no matches. This month at least one of the mothers did not want any biological children in the family. One of these days I pray, we will find the perfect match.
